How to send a package to a pickup point
If you wish to deliver your parcels in a relay point, find all the necessary advice for this delivery method. How does point pickup work ? Most often a local business, the point relay is a physical place linked to e-commerce. It is used for the distribution or the withdrawal of parcels/goods bought on the Internet.
The mode of delivery by pickup point is very simple, it is enough for you to deposit your parcel in your point relay of proximity, this one will be taken care of by your conveyor.
Once this one is recovered, it will be routed towards the nearest drop off point of your recipient. If you are a merchant, when paying for your purchase, you can let him choose the relay point where he will pick up his package. The carrier will inform the recipient (by sms or email) of the progress of the shipment
How does it work to send a parcel to a drop off point?
This delivery method is very simple:
- Enter the characteristics of your shipment in our comparator and validate your order by clicking on "send my parcel" (with the weight of your parcel, the size and the shipping address).
- Choose your pickup point for the deposit of your sending: you choose on the map the relay point in which the carrier will have to leave the parcel: close to your residence or to your place of work, many possibilities are offered to you.
- Select the nearest pickup point to your recipient's address
- Print your packing slip, then pack your shipment, and stick your shipping label on it.
- Drop off your parcel: once the package has been dropped off at the pickup location, the company will inform you of the progress of your package by email
- Within approximately 5 to 10 working days following the shipment, the recipient only has to pick up the parcel, provided with his ID card and the different references of the parcel. The icing on the cake, another person can pick up the package if the recipient is not available.
